Like many great places, sometimes you just stumbled upon them. We were visiting a family member in the nearby hospital and were starving. We stopped at the closest place which was Prima Pizza Kitchen. Their pizza has a great crust on the bottom layer, and the top is just cheesy, tomato goodness. We also ordered the ziti and meatballs and the eggplant Parmesan. They were both super delicious and authentic. In addition, the portions were pretty generous. I would highly recommend this place if you like fresh ingredients and really yummy pizza! There are plenty of tables to either eat in or dine out. There is with her accessible parking, as well as restroom facilities.
The most amazing pizza I have ever had! Anywhere I go to eat pizza.. I always have to say that’s there is no pizza like Prima Pizza! I highly recommend it! 10/10! Pizza to perfection! Chefs kiss and I’m not kidding! Anyone who hates on their pizza is a jealous a hater!
One of the best pies in central jersey. The texture of the crust is near perfect. The Margherita has a bit too much garlic for my taste, but still very good. So far, my favorite has been the Champlain pie. The wings are excellent too
Great experience last night at Prima! Jerry goes above and beyond to make sure your order is personally up to his high standards. I showed up during peak dinner hours and our order was still made in a timely manner and immediately addressed. As for the food, another tremendous experience! The dough and oven produced a great crisp crust without any flop or folding. All ingredients tasted fresh and were seasoned to perfection. Great spot to eat any day of the week, with plenty leftover for another day!
The most amazing and fresh pizza! I highly recommend this place! Want amazing pizza? Get your A to Prima and it will hit the spot guys! I have eaten different dishes besides their pizza and man they slay it! Love these people!
This pizza is AMAZING. I even ate it the next day, cold and it was still so delicious. Hot and fresh pizza is generally pretty good so a true test is cold, out of the fridge the next day. The crust is the perfect thickness to be satisfying, thick enough to hold the pizza that you can grab it and hold with 1 hand but thin enough that you're not eating all dough. The sauce is rich, flavourful and very garlicky. We got the Sausage and Broccoli Rabe pizza which was so so good. The broccoli rabe was a perfect pairing to the sausage, which was savoury and not too spicy and not too sweet. The Champlain pizza is a winner of the best pizza in central NJ, rightly so and don't let its simplicity fool you, it highlights the sauce, cheese and crust perfectly. You must try this place.
Awesome spot. Super nice staff, clean dining area. Even the other patrons were nice. Got a well done thin crust, Italian sub, and linguini with white clams. Everything was great.
Food, service, ambiance all done top notch at Prima pizza. Never seen a place so busy or busier than this place right here. Great people great family oriented type of business. if you want good pizza then stop in at Prima Pizza and kitchen in Somerville n.j. Great tasting, perfection made pizza. My opinion, can’t beat it. If so, your lying and the place your family, friends, mom or dad own sucks.
